Wonnenberg Angus is a multi-generation family operated dating back to the late 1950's when the first registered Aberdeen Angus cattle were purchased by David, Ken, and William (Bill) Wonnenberg.  The family began selling Angus seedstock a few years later in 1963.  The business continued on with Bill and his son, Steve, raising registered Angus cattle and selling seed stock including replacement heifers and bulls.  Today this long-time family operation paves forward with  Steve and Joan along with their sons, Andy and Hand and their families.  The annual performance auction was discontinued in the mid 1990's and all bulls have since been offered every winter starting late January on a first-come private treaty sale at the ranch.
